Tehachapi City ( Downtown proper)
Downtown Tehachapi is a mixture of both old and new buildings, homes, warehouses, apartments, parks, an Airport, our High School, Junior High, Hospital, Senior Center, Police Station, City Hall, a bustling commericial area with restaurants and hotels and various parks, a dog park, walking and bycycle paths.

Closer to town you'll find the older, established neighborhoods. Higher up - off Curry Street you'll find several new tracts - including the beautiful 'Heritage Oaks' tracts - both the "East" and the "West" tracts, offering a generous choice of floorplans and lot sizes.

Just West of Downtown, and within the City limits is Tucker Road - one of the main commercial streets in Tehachapi. Walmart is now being built with a scheduled opening date of Fall of 2019.
